Who we are
InstallMyEVCharger.ai is a digital comparison, installation planning, and contractor introduction service. We are not an electrical contractor and do not perform or supervise electrical installation work.
Service requests can be submitted from across the United States, but electrician availability, response times, geographic coverage, license status, and service terms are not guaranteed. We do not represent that a nationwide contractor network is already established.
Estimates and project proposals
The interactive estimate is an educational planning aid, not a bid, binding offer, electrical design, load calculation, permit approval, or guaranteed installed price. Hardware costs, wiring, trenching, panel work, local permits, sales tax, and labor vary materially.
A participating contractor, if available, must evaluate the actual site, validate specifications and electrical capacity, and provide any final proposal, payment terms, warranty and schedule directly. Do not purchase equipment or begin electrical work based solely on an online estimate.
Contractor introductions and compensation
If you explicitly opt in to requesting quotes, we may share your submitted contact information and project details with one or more participating electricians who might serve your location. They may contact you about your request by phone or email.
InstallMyEVCharger.ai may receive compensation from participating contractors for qualified introductions. This can influence which contractors receive an inquiry. We do not guarantee that matching will result in a bid, appointment, approved permit or completed installation.
Any electrical contractor must hold appropriate licensing and insurance for the jurisdiction. Verify credentials with the state or local licensing board before signing a contract.
Privacy and information sharing
We collect information you choose to enter, including name, email address, phone number, installation ZIP/address, vehicle, electrical panel information and preferred time. We use it to prepare estimates, manage requested introductions, detect abuse and respond to support requests.
We may disclose project and contact details to participating contractors only after you affirmatively authorize the specific lead-sharing purpose. We may also use providers that host or process our site and records, subject to their services. We do not claim that submitted information stays solely within this website.
Opting in authorizes requested human follow-up by phone or email, not prerecorded robocalls, autodialed marketing calls, or automated promotional texts. You may request access, correction, deletion or withdrawal through our contact form. We retain records only as reasonably necessary for the service, compliance, security and dispute resolution.
This is an initial operational privacy notice for the new service and should receive a professional privacy and jurisdictional compliance review before public promotion.
Electrical safety
Home EV charging installations can involve continuous high-current loads. Panel labels and amperage alone cannot establish available capacity. A qualified electrician should perform an applicable electrical load calculation and determine breaker, wire, protective device, placement and permitted scope under locally adopted code.
We encourage use of properly listed EV charging equipment and obtaining permits and inspections wherever required. No AI-generated guidance on this site substitutes for licensed electrical judgment.
Incentives and taxes
The federal Section 30C Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit ceased applying to new equipment placed in service after June 30, 2026. It is not deducted from installation estimates here.
State, utility and local programs may change without notice and often depend on the customer’s electric utility, equipment specifications, application window, and eligibility criteria. Any incentives must be independently confirmed and are not deducted from planning estimates.
No warranties and third-party services
A planning estimate does not create a contract for installation. InstallMyEVCharger.ai makes no warranty about an electrical contractor’s workmanship, pricing, schedule, availability, coverage, certification or performance. Contractor terms and manufacturer hardware warranties are separate from this platform.
Our content is educational and should not be treated as engineering, electrical, legal or tax advice. Published prices are illustrative and are not promises of vendor pricing.
