PSEG Long Island Time-of-Day EV Charging Rates
Possible reduced off-peak electricity charges
Optional residential time-of-day electricity rate plans can lower EV charging costs during qualifying off-peak periods, separate from the utility's upfront charger rebate.
Who may qualify: Qualified PSEG Long Island electric customers; savings depend on full household load and enrollment.
- A rate plan is not a cash rebate for hardware or electrical work.
- Peak-hour electricity costs can rise; compare your whole bill.
- Confirm latest rate design and tariff before switching.
What to check before buying
- Confirm the name of the electric delivery utility on the bill, not just the ZIP code or retail energy supplier.
- Check eligible hardware and whether wiring, contractor labor, permitting or electrical panel upgrades are covered.
- Confirm any preapproval requirement, income criteria, contractor-network restriction, funding window and stacking policy.
- Ask the utility for a dated written eligibility determination whenever possible.
